The mesmerizing, stroboscopic effect of his wingbeats draws the eye in each and every time. You cannot help but become transfixed on the imagery. The stroboscopic effect, in and of itself, is astonishing. However, while the visual story of “the Dance of the Bronzed Cowbird” is quite remarkable, the rhythmic, hypnotic sounds emanating from his wingbeats during his dance leave quite an equally dazzling impression on my naturalist mind. Frankly, the sight and sound of this dance is not something that you will soon forget it, and it is such an amazing, unique, rarely documented nature story that I simply cannot keep it all to myself.
